MOBILITY CENTRE

Batho Pele Operations Centre works closely with various authorities (e.g. Metro Police and City Power to monitor, report and record incidents.

Incidents are monitored and reports are supplied to various by-law enforcement authorities, news agents and media stations.

The section monitors CCTV cameras and supplies information to the Jra website and the following radio stations:

• Highveld FM

• Five FM

• Kaya FM

• Y-FM

• Metro FM

• Jozi FM

The 084 JAMLINE provides traffic reports to the following stations:

• SAFM

• RSG

• Lotus

• Radio Pulpit

• Classic FM

Through technology installed at the centre (SCOOT/UTC), the section can monitor traffic signals at various locations.
